If there's one thing I've learned over the years, it's that most commercial roofs don't need replacing; they need the right solution.
I founded Melbourne Protective Coatings in 2013 to help commercial property owners get more life out of their buildings through roof restoration, waterproofing and specialist protective coating systems.Â
Since then, I've worked with builders, facility managers, strata managers and business owners across Melbourne, helping them protect their properties and avoid unnecessary repairs wherever possible.
What I enjoy most about this industry is solving problems. Every building is different, and every project presents a new challenge. I enjoy getting to the root of the issue, explaining the options clearly and helping clients choose the solution that's right for their building—not simply the most expensive one.

Like many people in the trades, I started out with a paintbrush in my hand and a strong belief that doing the job properly matters.
As my experience grew, so did my understanding of the challenges commercial buildings face. Water damage, corrosion, ageing roofs and ongoing maintenance issues can become incredibly expensive if they're not dealt with early.
That's what led me to specialise in commercial roof protection.
Instead of simply painting buildings, my team and I now focus on protecting them. We work with proven coating systems that restore ageing roofs, prevent future damage and help building owners avoid unnecessary replacement costs wherever possible.
Since founding Melbourne Protective Coatings in 2013, we've completed projects across warehouses, schools, factories, retail centres, apartment complexes, hospitals and many other commercial properties throughout Melbourne.
One principle has guided me throughout my career:
"In every commercial project, I approach it as if it's my own venture."
That means taking the time to understand the condition of the building, explaining the available options and recommending the solution that delivers the best long-term outcome.
I believe good communication is just as important as good workmanship. My clients deserve honest advice, realistic expectations and a contractor they can rely on from the initial inspection through to project completion.
