What is Body Corporate painting?
Body Corporate painting is either direct or sub-contracted painting works on any site that is considered a plot of land which holds 3 or more title holders. Body corporate can be made up of both residential and commercial or industrial plots. Most of our body corporate work is completed on residential sites made up of high-rise buildings or developments with townhouses/units.

We also complete body corporate work in industrial and commercial business parks as well.

Whether you are work for the Strata management of the premise or you’re on the board of owners seeking additional quotes we can work with all the above.
What kind of work do you complete on these sites?
Work we complete on a body corporate site can vary widely from simple touchups, line-marking and application of anti-graffiti on walls/buildings through to heat reduction painting on large scale buildings or full repaints of entire structure and surrounds. We aim to build a long-lasting relationship with any Body Corporate setup as we understand that it’s important to have trades you can rely on and trust as well as us having repeat ongoing work with our long-term clients.
Can you do high access painting works?
We certainly do, high access painting for high rise apartments is often and expensive and tricky work often involving access equipment and sometime traffic management, sleep easy knowing that the right coating specialist are on the job. With years of experience in all aspects of general painting and specialty coatings, no job is too hard especially when it comes to those tricky jobs.
Do you have Insurance?
Melbourne Protective Coatings has $20 Million in public liability insurance. We are also covered by Work Cover and full business and asset insurance.
Can you arrange access equipment?
We are happy to use access equipment that you provide on-site, we can also arrange our own access. All access equipment if included in the quote supplied will say so in the “Access & Safety” Section of our quote. If it’s not stipulated in writing on the quote assume that it isn’t included.
Do you offer advice on paint systems?
We are happy to help with advice and information on any project. As Dulux Accredited painters we also can draw upon the Dulux Groups specification expert and have someone from Dulux come out to spec a product specifically for your project needs.

Unlike a lot of painters, we have our own specialty coatings division and can help advise on those tricky projects where others can’t.
Will the commercial site have to close during their business hours?
At Melbourne Protective Coatings we understand the importance of being open and operating your commercial sites during business hours. Having trades working onsite during those times isn’t always achievable and with that we offer after-hours work to allow for such instances. Although our after-hours work can incur additional costs, we understand that sometimes there are no other choices. We are constantly working with our clients to ensure the least impact on their day-to-day operations which often includes work being completed during the Christmas break when a lot of business’s shutdown. Shopping Centers are also another location where we can complete works outside of opening times to ensure a seamless completion of works with minimal disruption.
