At Melbourne Protective Coatings, our mission is to protect commercial and industrial buildings with roofing and coating systems that are designed to handle Australian conditions.

We specialise in roof waterproofing, anti-corrosion systems, heat-reflective coatings, and commercial roof restoration for warehouses, factories, retail centres, strata buildings, and high-access sites across Australia.
Our team handles the entire process, from inspections and quoting through to permits, access equipment, safety requirements, and project delivery. Founded in 2013 by Harrison Cisar-Wright, MPC has grown into a specialist contractor focused on commercial roof protection, waterproofing, anti-corrosion systems, and heat-reflective membrane solutions.

OUR ROOFING PROCESS

No-Go Zone & Power Shutdowns

Our team identifies potential No-Go Zone requirements during the quoting stage and helps coordinate shutdowns, permits, safety documentation, spotters, and traffic controls where required.

These requirements are often overlooked until late in a project, causing delays, unexpected costs, and scheduling issues.
Space Occupancy Permit / Consent to Work Permits
Some projects within certain councils require either a Space Occupancy Permit or a Consent to Work Permit depending on the location and project requirements.

While permit costs are usually manageable on short-term works, larger or longer-duration projects require proper planning to avoid unnecessary permit expenses and delays.

These approvals can often take 2–3 weeks to process and, in some cases, may also require a professional Traffic Management Plan prepared by a qualified traffic controller.

Harrison leads Melbourne Protective Coatings with a strong focus on quality, communication, and long-term client relationships.

He built MPC around the idea that commercial clients should be able to rely on one contractor to assess the problem, recommend the right system, and manage the project properly from start to finish. 

Today, he oversees project planning, quoting, product selection, and client communication across the business, with a strong focus on roof protection systems, waterproofing, anti-corrosion coatings, and complex commercial works.

Peter oversees business development and administration across MPC.

With more than 12 years of experience running businesses, Peter plays a key role in project coordination, operations, and client communication. He works closely with clients throughout quoting, scheduling, and delivery to help projects run smoothly from start to finish.
