Melbourne Protective Coatings was sub-contracted to deliver a high-quality commercial painting job at the new Storage King facility in Narre Warren. Our task was to paint all internal doors in a striking royal blue and to coordinate the external stairwells with the Colorbond cladding that decorates the building's exterior. This project aimed to ensure a cohesive and polished look that aligns with the facility's aesthetic.
We faced challenges in managing the height of the building, which required the use of a 32’ Boomlift to access high areas safely and efficiently during the painting process.
Additionally, ensuring consistent paint quality across various surfaces, including internal doors and external stairwells, was crucial. Precise color matching and careful application were necessary to achieve a uniform appearance, addressing both logistical and technical difficulties throughout the commercial painting project.
