When Goodyear updated its Braeside location, the building needed to reflect the company's new corporate identity with a clean, professional appearance that was consistent with its national brand.
Melbourne Protective Coatings was engaged by the project's signage contractor to complete the interior and exterior coating works.
The project required careful planning, precise application and a durable coating system capable of delivering sharp colour definition and a high-quality finish throughout the property.
The design brief for this project called for a high-quality finish with clean, sharp lines throughout the building. Achieving that result depended on careful preparation before the new coating system could be applied.
The existing interior and exterior surfaces were cleaned using Selleys Sugar Soap to remove grease, grime and other contaminants that could affect coating adhesion.
This preparation provided a clean surface for the specified coating system and helped achieve the crisp finish required for Goodyear's distinctive blue and yellow colour scheme.
To deliver a durable and professional result, a three-coat coating system was applied throughout both the interior and exterior of the building.
